There are many different types of therapy and counselling available and it can sometimes feel overwhelming deciding which one is right for you.

What is Humanistic Integrative Therapy?
My counselling training was Humanistic Integrative which means that I gained knowledge and experience of using a range of different theoretical models. An integrative approach acknowledges that every person is unique and has different needs and that no single way of working is sufficient. The BACP provides a summary of different types of therapy, which can be a good starting point when trying to decide what may be right for you. https://www.bacp.co.uk/about-therapy/types-of-therapy/

How I will work with you

The most important belief in my approach is the building of a good therapeutic relationship which is based on respect and empathy. I will adapt the way I work specifically to your needs and choose methods which I believe will be most helpful to you.

I provide a confidential, safe, supportive, trusting, collaborative, creative and non-judgemental space for listening, reflection and growth. I will work with you to help you understand your difficulties in greater depth, what caused them and empower you to find the best way forward to live in a happier and more fulfilling way.
